Music
Dhrupad
Dhrupad is a form of music that is meant to bring the mind to a peaceful, meditative state. It’s an ancient science of sound and music that aims to develop human consciousness for both listeners and performers. Dhrupad is the oldest surviving classical style of Hindustani vocal music tracing back to the Gandharva Veda, the Vedic science of music, which is a branch of Sama Veda.

Devotional Tamil Hymns
Thirumurai (Tamil: திருமுறை, meaning holy division) is a twelve-volume sacred anthology of songs or hymns in praise of Shiva in the Tamil language from the 6th to the 11th century CE by various poets in Tamil Nadu. Thiruvasagam (by the ninth century Shaivite bhakti poet Manikkavasagar containing 51 compositions and constituting the eighth volume of the Tirumurai) and Thirumantiram (by Tirumular the tenth volume of the Tirumurai) are two of the most known works. Tirumurai (along with Vedas and Saiva agamas) form the basis of Saiva Siddhantha philosophy in Tamilnadu.
